Ilirida 2017

A quality wine from the autochthonous Prokupa grape variety. This grape is considered as one of the oldest varieties in the Balkans region, cultivated already in the Illyrian age (Antiquity). Hence, the variety is also known as "Illyrian grape". Prokupa yields fiery red wines of Mediterranean style showing a purple colour and, in the nose, delicate aromas of sour cherry, bilberry and redcurrant. Fresh and spicy tannins and a well-balanced acidity enables a long maturity and strong potential.
